Mexican Pot Luck &Pool
Opening Party
Sunday, May 4 at 6:00 pm– bring your dish; it does not have to be
Mexican—the Mariachi Los Galleros band will provide the music from 6.30
pm—until 8:00 pm—you can sign up in the lobby for this event. Ideas for food
will be listed on the clipboard.
Jazz Brunch
Sunday, May 18—music will be
provided by Charlie Chiklis and the Moonlighters from 11 am until 3:00 pm.
Irregardless Café will provide a brunch from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and a
sweets bar from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Reservations must be made by May
12.
Community Bake Sale—Auction
On Saturday, May 17—we are using
this event as a fundraiser for buying the defibrillator for the
clubhouse. It will be a fun evening, and you can buy items to eat there or
take home. Coffee, tea and sodas will be available. Remember that this is
for a good cause. Please let the office know if you are going to donate a
“sweet treat” for the auction. |
Memorial Day Cookout
Will be held on Monday, May 26 at
5:00 pm. The clubhouse will provide hotdogs, hamburgers and buns. You are
asked to bring other items to share. There will be a sign up sheet in the
lobby. Reservations are needed by Monday, May 19.

“8” ball on the break. Way to go, Mert!
Wanted
...the names and/or pictures of family members who died in our nation’s
service, which you would like remembered on Memorial Day. We are planning
a display at the clubhouse. Please bring your information to the clubhouse
office by Wednesday, May 14.
Memorial Day
...Memorial Day represents one day of national awareness and reverence,
honoring those Americans who died while defending our Nation and its
values. While we should honor these heroes every day for the profound
contribution they have made to securing our Nation’s freedom, we should
honor them especially on Memorial Day…
