Many thanks to Emmett & Becky Waller for heading a committee to bring you a special 4th of July cook-out. Come celebrate with your fellow residents on Sunday, July 4th in the clubhouse. Entertainment will start at 5:00 pm with dinner following at 6:00 pm. Stay around the clubhouse after dinner to enjoy the Morrisville fireworks visible from the patio after dark. Don’t forget to sign-up now, the deadline is June 28.

Be sure to attend one of the twohistorical outdoor dramas presented each year by the Snow Camp Historical Drama Society, Inc. The Sword of Peace, now in its 30th year, is a dramatic portrayal of the American Revolution and depicts the struggles that peaceful Quakers must face in time of war. Pathway To Freedom is the only outdoor drama in the U.S. that deals with African American history and the Underground Railroad. Check the calendar for bus trips.

Calling all frustrated “would-be” musicians, thespians and just anyone who loves the performing arts to join us for wine and cheese on Wednesday, July 14 at 7:00 pm. Come with your ideas and suggestions of events to attend that you would like to see included in our calendar for the coming performance season. Please sign-up before the deadline. All are welcome.

Approximately ninety homeowners gathered at the flagpole on a beautiful Memorial Day morning for a Memorial Day tribute. A short ceremony was conducted outside, which included Bob Cady and his trumpet, Tom Carter leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and Mary Gianuzzi leading the singing of “God Bless America”. Everyone then went inside and enjoyed refreshments. The remainder of the ceremony conducted inside included a number of residents and guests sharing Memorial Day remembrances from times past. Chig Hill also read a Memorial Day prayer. It was a special time of remembrance for those who attended.
