DEFIBRILLATOR UPDATE AND MEETING
NOTICE
The AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
committee has read all of the specifications and looked at the price
quotations for both the Medtronic and Philips
defibrillators. They have
determined that the Philips unit is more sophisticated, is easier to use, as
in more user friendly, is recommended and used by all
airlines and costs about $1,000.00 less than the Medtronic unit. We would
like those interested in becoming part of the Heritage Pines
Certified AED Specialists to meet with us on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at
6:30 pm to see a demonstration of the Philips unit and to discuss the
questions and concerns that some of you have.
