NEW YEAR’S EVE

There is a change of entertainment for New Year’s Eve. Due to the illness of Paul Minnis, John Ruth, a local disc jockey, will provide the music for the evening. The party starts at 8:30 and heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Dancing will be from 9:30 to 12:30. Call Nancy White if you have any questions.

LADIES LUNCHEON

The ladies’ brown bag lunch (yes, this really is a “brown bag lunch) will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at 12:30 pm. The highlight of the day will be the annual “White Elephant” grab bag. Bring the article in your home that you “most want to get rid of” - wrapped please. Call Minnette Carter with any questions. Reservations on the sign-up sheet will close at noon, Monday,
January 17th.

BALLROOM DANCING

A new activity will be starting on Monday, January 3 thanks to Tony and Terri Zalapi. They will be holding a ballroom dance class on Mondays from 7:00-8:00pm in the clubhouse. The cost is $8.00 per couple per night so the total cost for the five Mondays in January will be $40.00 per couple payable to the Zalapis on the first Monday night. If you have any questions, please call Tony & Terri.

DEFIBRILLATOR
UPDATE

Good News!

The defibrillator has been purchased and Tim Mannix is organizing his committee of captains to get it operational. Once the captains are in place, classes will be held to train those residents who will become “trained responders.” He is working with The Red Cross and the Cary Fire Department. The classes will be “ongoing” so the responders will have refresher courses several times a year. Please call Tim with any questions.

CLUBHOUSE ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE

Join all your neighbors for an anniversary dessert bash on Sunday afternoon, January 30, 2005, from 2:00-4:00 pm in the clubhouse. Our special entertainment for the afternoon will be Anita Burroughs-Price, principal harpist with the North Carolina Symphony. Delectable desserts and beverages will be served. Come and celebrate the fourth anniversary of your community.
