“THE WAY WE WERE”

Join your fellow HP neighbors for an informative and enjoyable afternoon on Sunday, June 5 at 3:00 pm with long time local residents, Billy Upchurch and  Bryan Edwards. Mr. Upchurch still lives on Carpenter Upchurch Road and Mr. Edward’s uncle once owned the land now inhabited by Heritage Pines. Come and learn “how things used to be” in this area.

Refreshments will be served after the program. Sign up by noon,
Monday, May 30. Chairperson for the afternoon is Nancy White.

FOOTNOTES TAP ENSEMBLE

On Saturday, June 18 at 7:00 pm, the Footnotes Tap Ensemble will perform for our residents in the clubhouse. This group is a not for profit professional adult dance group based in Durham that has received rave reviews. Space is limited, so sign up soon. Seating is limited and the deadline is noon, Monday, June 6. The chairperson is Lee Mazan.
 

“LADY MARGARET'S"
ENGLISH TEA PARTY

Don your prettiest dress (hats and gloves optional) and enjoy a genteel afternoon of tea, cucumber  sandwiches and other tasty treats. This delightful event hosted by  Margaret Pritt and Nancy White will be held in the clubhouse on
Wednesday, June 15th at 3:00 pm.
Seating is limited to 48 people so sign-up soon. The deadline for
signing up is noon, Monday, June 6.

A TASTE OF ITALY

Another occasion for good food and fun for all will be held at the
clubhouse on Saturday evening, June 11 at 6:00 pm. Great food including
Italian meat platter, chicken
parmigiana, penna marinara, house salad, focaccia bread, cannoli and beverage will be catered by Pasta Antonio. The cost is $15.00 per
person and the deadline for
reservations is noon, Monday, May 30. Seating is limited to 80 so make your reservation now. For more

JULY 4TH BASH
A real southern party will be held for ALL HP residents on Monday, July 4 at 5:30 pm in and around the
clubhouse. Tents will be erected in the parking lot so everyone can
attend. Fried chicken, pork barBQ, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, hush puppies, tea and dessert will be catered by Don Murray. The cost is $10.00 per person and the deadline for reservations is noon, Monday, June 20. Your hosts for the party are Emmett & Becky Waller.
