Hot Off  The Press

The date for the December Holiday Ladies Luncheon is Tuesday,
December 6 at 12:30 pm. Please bring a dish to share and if you want to participate in the grab bag gift exchange, please bring a $5.00 wrapped gift. Hostess is Jeanette Adamski.

Green Hope High School
Chamber Orchestra

A talented group of musicians from GHHS will be entertaining us on Tuesday, 12/ 13 at 4:00 pm in the clubhouse. This is the same
ensemble that played at one of the ladies’ lunches last year. They will be including some holiday favorites in their selections. Seating is limited so sign up as soon as possible. The deadline for reservations is noon, Monday, 12/5.

SHIIP

Representatives of “Seniors Health Insurance Information Program”
(SHIIP) will be at HP on Wednesday, 12/14 at 10:00 am to explain Part D of Medicare coverage. SHIIP is a group of volunteers who help fellow senior citizens in their community with questions regarding Medicare,
Medicare supplements and Medicare claims. If the new prescription coverage plan is confusing to you, you will want to attend this informative discussion. Deadline to register is noon, Monday, 12/5 and seating is limited.

GHHS Caroling

Once again the students from GHHS will be caroling in our neighborhood. The date for this treat is Monday, December 19th at 4:00 pm. After the caroling, the students will be served
refreshments in the clubhouse.

New Year’s Eve

Dress up and celebrate New Year’s Eve from 8:30 pm to 12:30 at the clubhouse. Dance the night away to the sounds of the big bands and pop music with the exceptional DJ Bob Graves (brought back by request from last year). Delicious hors d’oerves, special party subs and salads and a Viennese dessert table will be served. Remember to BYOB (including champagne). The cost is $20.00 per person and the
deadline to register is noon,
Monday, 12/12. Seating is limited to the first 80 so signup now!

New Year’s Day Brunch

Round out the holiday season with a pot luck brunch at the clubhouse on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at 10:30 am. The cost is $1.00 and reservations which are limited to the first 80 must be made by noon, Monday, 12/12. Please call Alice White to let her know what dish you will bring. Don’t forget to BYOB—juices will be provided.
