Heritage Happenings 
Hot Off  The Press

The annual St. Patrick’s day party will be held in the clubhouse on
Saturday, March 18th at 6:30 pm.
The cost is $13.50 per person and this includes the traditional dinner of corned beef, cabbage, Irish soda bread, and all the trimmings. Music by DJ Bob Graves.

Reservations are limited to the first 80 to sign up. The deadline for reservations is noon Monday, March 6. If you have any questions, please contact Lee Mazan or Shirley Rieck.

Gentle Yoga Class
A new Gentle Yoga class will be starting in March if enough (at least 10 people) sign up. Both men and women are welcome.

Barbara Lipson has made
arrangements with a yoga
instructor to teach a class from 11:30 to 12:30 on Wednesdays beginning March 8.

“Yoga is a series of stretching and strengthening movements that get your blood flowing and your joints and muscles moving. These movements improve your  circulation, digestion and mental alacrity so that you just feel better. And when you feel better, you are more optimistic about life.” quote from Mary Cavanaugh—”Yoga Keeps Seniors Mobile” from http://www.yogajp.com. This is a gentle form of yoga using a chair. You can find balance , strengthen and stretch more when using a chair for support. It is an easy and affective way to get all the benefits from yoga with confidence. Wear
comfortable clothing that allows for full movement of the body.

The fee will be $24.00 for 4 classes in March. The deadline to register is noon March 1.

WANTED
April is National Volunteer Month and we would like to honor our homeowners who volunteer outside of this community.

Please submit the name of the homeowner, what and where they volunteer, to the clubhouse office by March 15th. We are planning a special section about our volunteers in the next newsletter. You can submit your own
information or you can submit  information about your spouse or neighbor.

The Spanish Honor Society at Green Hope High School brought fresh fruit and hand made cards to the community for  Valentine’s Day. We are fortunate to have so many wonderful neighbors.
