Ladies Luncheon

The August Ladies’ Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, August 21 at 12:30 pm in the clubhouse. The menu will feature sandwiches - chicken salad on croissants and deli style [ham & cheese, turkey and roast beef} on French bread. These will be accompanied by salads - pasta, fruit and tomato/cucumber - with cookies for dessert. The speaker will be
Debbie Skakle, a pharmacist, who will speak about current trends in
nutrition and vitamins.

She will answer questions after her brief talk. The deadline for signing up is noon, Monday, August 6. The cost is $8.75 per person. Your hostesses are Millie Hellmann & Susan Smith. Hope to see you there..

Greek Night

Join us for a fun evening and a
delicious meal on Saturday, August 25, for “Greek Night.” A traditional Greek dinner will be catered by Nikos Taverna in Morrisville, and the Greek Dance Group from St. Barbara’s church in Durham will entertain us. Everyone is welcome to join the dancing.

The cost is $16 per person. BYOB
The meal will include traditional Greek appetizers, Greek-style lemon chicken, roasted potatoes, spanakopita, stew-style green beans, Greek salad, bread and of course, those wonderful Greek pastries for dessert!

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited to 80 people. The deadline to register is noon on Monday, August 6. Opa ! Opa !.

Events Coming in September

Polish Night

Please mark your calendars for Saturday night, September 29, for our celebration of Polish Night. Live music will be provided by the "Polka Plus Band", who will play a variety of music but clearly accentuate the evening with polkas and obereks. 
Genuine ethnic foods will include pierogi; holupki/ golabki (also known as cabbage rolls); kielbasa with sauerkraut; salad and Polish desserts.

Beginning Square Dance Lessons

Beginning Square Dance lessons are starting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 4. If you are interested in learning or you need a refresher course you are invited. There is a fee for these classes.
