These elected homeowners represent you with the Heritage Pines Board and the community.

Volunteer Recognition

In April, two functions have been planned to recognize the 2007 community volunteers. Those invited will receive their invitations along with this newsletter. The
commitment of over 200 residents to this community is outstanding, and we should all be proud to live in Heritage Pines. If anyone has been inadvertently overlooked, please let the clubhouse office know.

Mystery Dessert Theater

On Saturday, April 12, 2008, we will welcome the “HP Players” to the clubhouse. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the festivities will start at 7:00. This is a lottery signup and a separate check for $6.00 per person is required. The deadline to sign up is noon, Monday, March 31. Dessert will be served during the evening.

Director Eddie Cheek (John
Hannan) will be holding a gala
fundraiser for his new movie, “The Zombie Was an Alien,” at this event. Johnny Carson (Tim Mannix) will MC the evening. You’ll have the chance to chat with Nova Devoe (Nancy White), Cherri Pitt (Mary Hodes), and Rock Stud (Russ Willard). Casting Director
Billie Clubb (Marianne Hannan) will be looking for acting talent. Makeup artist Quinnie Winston (Bob Hodes) will be available to ensure you look the part if you get a chance to audition. See you then!

Ladies Luncheon

The April Ladies’ Luncheon will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 12:30 pm in the clubhouse. It will be catered by Bear Rock Café. The hosts are Chrys Matthews and Nancy Romano. The cost is $9.00 per person. Please indicate your choice of sandwich on the Ladies’ Lunch flyer in the newsletter, and turn it in with your sign-up sheet. The speaker, Laurie Holley, will talk to the group about the aquatics program planned for this summer here at Heritage Pines. The deadline to register is noon Monday, March 31.

1st Saturday Night, May 3, Cinco de Mayo-Mexican Fiesta

Please join us for the May 3 potluck with a Mexican theme in recognition of this Mexican Holiday, which celebrates freedom and independence. You may either bring a Mexican dish or one of your choosing if you don’t like Mexican food. Cost is $1.00, and reservations must be made by April 21, 2008. Doors open at 6, and we will begin serving at 6:30. Please call Pat Schneider or Susan Smith to let her know what you are bringing. Please leave a message if either is not home.

If you are unable to deliver your sign-up sheet to the office, you may ask a neighbor or friend to take your sheet. Each resident is limited to one (1) extra sheet. Thank you for your patience as we try to work on making event signup pleasurable for everyone. A separate check is required for the “lottery” events.
